The Computer Learning Center (CLC) of Wayamba National College of Education was established in the year 2000. The CLC plays a vital role in supporting teacher trainees by providing access to application software, assisting with assignments, and facilitating interaction with instructors.
Most importantly, the CLC lab enables teacher trainees to develop essential digital skills required in the modern workplace, eliminating the need to purchase their own hardware and software.
The air-conditioned CLC lab is equipped with 40 computer systems with modern internet connectivity. Additionally, tablets and laptops are available for classroom access. The facility also features modern infrastructure to ensure long-term access to ICT resources for teacher trainees.
The lab has been renovated and is currently maintained to provide enhanced learning experiences for trainees.
